RESHMI KEBAB

                                                   Kebabs are always my weakness................and  it is actually an easy dinner to prepare..........only thing is marination that is to be done before 4-6 hrs.................this is a super easy kebab recipe in a creamy mint sauce...............i got this recipe from the site SHOW ME THE CURRY.............it is one of my fav sites with so many delicious recipes................i made this with little improvisations from my side...............try this and enjoy............

INGREDIENTS:

BONELESS CHICKEN PIECES             -1/2 KG
HEAVY CREAM                                       -1/4 CUP
CURD                                                       -1/4 CUP
GINGER-GARLIC PASTE                       -1 TBLSPN
GROUND MINT LEAVES                        - 1TBLSPN
GROUND CORIANDER LEAVES            -1 TBLSPN
GROUND GREEN CHILLIES                  -1 TBLSPN
GARAM MASALA PDR                             -1/2 TSPN
SALT TO TASTE


METHOD:

  1. CUT CHICKEN INTO BIT SIZE PIECES
  2.  MIX ALL THE OTHER INGREDIENTS AND MARINATE CHICKEN IN THIS FOR ATLEAST 4-6 HRS
  3. LINE A BAKING TRAY WITH FOIL AND PUT CHICKEN PIECES IN IT
  4. GRILL IN MAXIMUM HEAT FOR 10 MIN
  5. TURN THE CHICKEN PIECES AND GRILL ON OTHER SIDE FOR 8-10 MIN
  6. SERVE HOT AND ENJOY................

SCHEZUWAN CHILLY BEEF

                           There are some days when we want to eat something really really spicy.........then this is your dish on that day......................this is one dish in which the taste last in your tongue long after you have had this.............now ill not say more abt this you try nd tell................


INGREDIENTS:

BEEF SLICES CUT INTO STRIPS           -250 GM
ONION CHOPPED                                    -1 BIG
GINGER-GARLIC PASTE                          -1 TBLSPN
CAPSICUM                                                  -1 CUT INTO CUBES
SCHEZUWAN SAUCE                                 -2 TBLSPN [RECIPE GIVEN BELOW]
SOY SAUCE                                                  - 1 TBLSPN
PEPPER PDR                                                  - 1 TSPN
RED CHILLY PDR                                          -1 TSP
OIL                                                                   -1 TBLSPN
SALT TO TASTE
SPRING ONION FOR GARNISHING



    METHOD:
  1. COOK BEEF PIECES IN A PRESSURE COOKER WITH GINGER GARLIC PASTE,1 TSP RED CHILLY PDR AND SALT
  2. AFTER IT IS COOKED RESERVE THE STOCK
  3. ADD OIL IN A KADAI AND ADD ONION
  4. SAUT TILL IT TURNS PINK
  5. THEN ADD CAPSICUM AND SAUTE FOR I MIN
  6. ADD THE SAUCES AND STOCK WATER AND LET IT BOIL FOR 5 MIN
  7. ADD BEEF AND PEPPER PDR
  8. COOK FOR 5 MIN UNTIL GRAVY IS THICK
  9. TRASFER TO A SERVING BOWL AND GARNISH WITH SPRING ONIONS.............

BROCCOLI BHAJI

                                                                I always like to have some snacks for my afternoon tea........mostly i try easy to prepare snacks...............otherwise after the lenghthy snack preparation i wont be in a mood to make my dinner..............this snack was introduced by my neighbour and eversince then it has been a regular dish at my home...........so try this easy snack...........this is for all those who like to munch something i the afternoon..............


INGREDIENTS:

BROCCOLI                                     -1 CUP
BESAN/CHICK PEA FLOUR         -1/2 CUP
RED CHILLY PDR                           -1 TSPN
CUMIN PDR                                     - 1/2 TSPN
ASAFOETIDA/HING PDR               - A PINCH
SALT TO TASTE
WATER TO MAKE A BATTER

METHOD:

  1. CUT BROCCOLI INTO FLORETS AND KEEP ASIDE
  2. MAKE A THICK BATTER WITH ALL THE REST INGREDIENTS
  3. HEAT OIL IN A KADAI
  4. DIP THE BROCCOLI FLORETS IN THE BATTER AND DEEP FRY.
  5. DRAIN IN A KITCHEN PAPER

SAUSAGE PARCELS

                                 Something that always makes mothers confused is how to feed a fussy kid.............we want them to eat their food happily and at the same time make it healthy.............my son is a really fussy one who is very picky abt what he eats.........every morning i have to wake 15 min early just to think what i will pack for my sons tiffin............he likes sausages nd so i made this sausage parcels which is a little spicy one so that dh will also have this for brekky............. try this nd enjoy..............


INGREDIENTS:

SAUSAGES                -4
ONION SLICED         -1
GARLIC CHOPPED    -2
capsicum chopped        -1/4 cup
TO MATO SAUCE      -2 TBLSPN
OIL                               - 1 TBLSPN
CHAPATHIS                -3


METHOD:
  1. CUT SAUSAGES INTO SMALL CUBES
  2. ADD OIL IN A KADAI AND SAUTE ONIONS
  3. ADD CHOPPED GARLIC AND SAUTE
  4. THEN ADD CAPSICUM FOLLOWED BY SAUSAGES
  5. ADD TOMATO SAUCE TO THIS AND ADD SALT ACCORDINGLY
  6. COOK TILL SAUSAGES ARE DONE
  7. THIS IS THE FILLING FOR SAUSAGE PARCEL
  8. NOW TAKE ONE CHAPATHI AND FILL WITH SAUSAGE MASALA
  9. FOLD IT AND WRAP WITH SANWICH PAPER
  10. SAUSAGE PARCELS ARE READY
FOR KIDS U CAN AVOID THE MASALA AND JUST WRAP SAUSAGES IN THE CHAPATHI.......

AVACADO CHAPATHI

                                                              No one can say no to a homely made dinner of soft hot chapathies and subzi...................my dh needs chapathies every night...........so to avoid repitation i try different flavors..............then i saw in some food blog[name i dont remember] the recipe of this avacado chapathy............it was long ago nd i had really forgotten about it.............those who read my blog regularly know that i cant say no to products in offer in supermarkets nd buy a lot..........that was the case with this avacados nd then this chapathy recipe came to my rescue............i wont say that the avacadoes impart any extra ordinary taste to the chapathies but one thing i can say is that they make chapathies really soft.............nd u cant stop with one............so try nd enjoy.................




                                                                                                                                                                                 

INGREDIENTS;

WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR                 -1 CUP
AVACADOES PUREED                    -1` CUP
CUMIN SEEDS                                  -1/2 TSPN
SALT TO TASTE
WATER TO MAKE A SOFT DOUGH

METHOD;

  1. MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE A SOFT DOUGH AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 5 MIN
  2. MAKE EQUAL SIZED BALLS  FROM THE DOUGH
  3. ROLL EACH BALL  IN A ROUND SHAPE
  4. HEAT A FRY PAN AND ADD THE ROLLED CHAPATHIES AND TURN AND COOK TILL BOTH SIDES ARE DONE
  5. EASY ND SOFT AVACADO CHAPATHY IS READY

COUNTRY APPLE LOAF

                     Ever since i started blogging a new habit i noticed 4 me is that i never want to make a same dish again however tasty it was the first time............my dh is always complaining that in trying out new things iam omitting some of his favourites................that is the case with cakes also..........every time iam trying out new cake recipes..........i didnt want to repeat anything until i made this cake...............i had a doubt with this flavour before making this...........but now i always make this cake whenever i crave 4 something sweet............this is such an easy recipe also...........so try this nd enjoy..............


INGREDIENTS:

ALL PURPOSE FLOUR         -1 CUP
APPLES CHOPPED                -2 CUPS
CASTOR SUGAR                    -1 CUP
VEG OIL                                   -1/2 CUP
EGGS                                         -2
BAKING PDR                            -1 TSPN
CINNAMON PDR                      -1/2 TSPN
CHOPPED NUTS                        -FOR SPRINKLING ON TOP


METHOD:

  1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 170 C
  2. SEIVE FLOUR AND BAKING PDR ATLEAST 2 TIMES AND KEEP ASIDE
  3. BEAT EGGS AND SUGAR TILL CREAMY
  4. ADD OIL AND BEAT 4 SOME MORE TIME
  5. ADD FLOUR LITTLE BY LITTLE AND MIX WITH SPOON
  6. ADD APPLES AND CINNAMON PDR AND MIX
  7. GREASE A LOAF PAN WITH BAKING SPRAY
  8. ADD  BATTER TO PAN
  9. SPORINKLE WITH CHOPPED NUTS
  10. BAKE FOR 30 MIN OR UNTIL A SKEWER INSERTED COMES CLEAN...................

ACTUALLY I WANTED TO TAKE A PIC OF THE SLICE WITH APPLES BUT THE CAKE WAS FINISHED IN SECONDS..........SO MAYBE NEXT TIME...............

EGG CURRY IN 5 MIN

                                          This curry actually came as a surprise for me...........i had actually decided to make a egg and peas curry from some cook book...............but when i had boiled the eggs i noticed that i didnt have many of the ingredients for that recipe...................then in the spur of the moment i just put all the ingredients i had and made this egg curry...............but it came really good............the main advantage is that this is super easy to make..............so try this and enjoy..............

INGREDIENTS:

BOILED EGGS             -4
ONION SLICED           -1
GINGER GRATED        -1 TSP
GREEN CHILLY            -2
TOMATO                        -1
TURMERIC PDR             -1/2 TSPN
COCONUT MILK           -1/2 CUP

FOR TEMPERING:

OIL            -1TBLSPN
MUSTARD SEEDS        -1 TSP
CURRY LEAVES           -A SPRIG


METHOD:

  1. Pressure cook onions,ginger,green chilly,tomato and turmeric pdr for one whistle.
  2. when all pressure has gone open lid of cooker and add boiled eggs and heat for 5 min
  3. then add coconut milk and heat for 2 more min and keep aside
  4. heat oil in a kadai and temper the curry with ingredients for tempering..........
  5. hot and easy egg curry is ready.............

CHOCOLATE CHIP PUDDING AND 50

                                                      CHOCOLATE CHIP PUDDING AND 50-every one would be wondering what is this 50.................any guess???????????????oh no dont sat that u thought that this pudding needs 50 ingredients or it takes 50 tries to make or it needs 50 people to make it.................before ur guesses go wild ill only explain................this is my 50th post..................cant believe i already have a blog and i have successfully posted 50 recipes......................thankx for all the support from my fellow bloggers and readers......................

i was really in a confusion what to post for celebrating this 50...............i actually had a spicy chinese recipe in my draft..............but at last decided on this dessert coz for us indians celebrations always starts nd ends with sweets.....................this is an easy dessert to make with gelatin as the base.............every one should try this and enjoy.................



INGREDIENTS:

MILK                                     -500 ML
CONDENSED MILK             -1/2 TIN
GELATIN                                - 1 TBLSPN DISSOLVED IN 4 TBLSPN WATER
CHOCOLATE CHIPS             -1/2 CUP
FRESH CREAM                       - 1 TIN
COLOUR OPTIONAL



METHOD:

  1. HEAT MILK AND CONDENSED MILK TILL IT BOILS
  2. KEEP IT ASIDE
  3. MELT GELATIN BY DOUBLE BOILING METHOD
  4. ADD THIS TO THE MILK MIX AND MIX THOROUGHLY
  5. ADD CHOCOLATE CHIPS TO THIS MIX
  6. TRANSFER TO A CONTAINER AND KEEP IN FRIDGE FOR ATLEAST 4 HRS OR UNTIL THE PUDDING SETS
  7. ONECE THE PUDDING IS SET ADD THE CREAM MIXED WITH SOME COLOUR ON TOP OFTHE PUDDING
  8. TRY AND ENJOY...............
